FULTON -- Reid Rector singled three times and drove in three runs as Fulton dominated Henderson 12-2 in the only Ohio Valley League baseball game played on a wet Saturday night. The Railroaders moved into a tie for second in the Western Division with Hoptown; just a half-game behind Paducah.
The Flash scored the first run of the contest in the third, but Fulton scored twice in its half of that inning with a walk and a hit batter with the bases loaded. The Railroaders put it away with seven runs over the fourth through sixth innings; starting with a solo homer to right by Garrett Guymon. Rector had a two-RBI single in the fifth, while Davis Lott got one in the sixth.
Tanner Stinnett struck out 10 while allowing just one hit and five walks over five innings for the win. Jordyn Naranjo threw the final three innings for Fulton; also allowing just one hit with six strikeouts and three walks.
