Jackson Sivills scored a game-high 33 points as McCracken County edged George Rogers Clark 77-75 Saturday in the Central Bank Classic semifinals in Lexington.

Ramon Heard added 13 points and 12 rebounds, as the Mustangs enjoyed a 34-17 rebounding edge over the Cardinals in building a nine-point lead entering the fourth quarter. GRC slashed into that lead by hitting six of its 15 3-pointers in the final frame. Jared Wellman topped the Cardinals with 31 points.

Ronnie Jones scored 12 points and Ian McCune 10 for the Mustangs, who will face Lexington Christian in the tourney finals at 5:15 p.m. today.

Mayfield's Colby Kennemore tied the game with a pair of free throws with 45 seconds left before Calloway wound down the clock to set up Butler's game-winner off a pass from Kade Mize. The Lakers have won four straight games and seven of their last eight.

Chandler Steele led the Lakers with 16 points, while Butler had 12. DaAngelo Brooks had 13 points for the Cardinals, who saw their four-game winning streak snapped.

First, the Lady Tornado fell behind 20-6 in the first quarter en route to a 64-34 loss to Dresden, Tennessee. Diamond Gray led Tilghman with nine points.

The nightcap was closer but still a 69-61 loss to Hopkinsville. Donisha Flowers scored nine of her game-high 27 points for the Lady Tigers during a 21-10 third quarter that erased a three-point halftime lead for Tilghman. Jaaliyah Biggers had a big game for the Lady Tornado with 20 points, while Gray added 19.

Destiny Thomas scored 16 points to led the Lady Mustangs, who were hampered by going 11-for-23 at the foul line. Abby Ellington hit three 3-pointers for most of her 13 points for McCracken, while Ashley Breindl topped the Lady War Eagles, also with 16 points. The Lady Mustangs will close their run in this tournament at 6 p.m. Monday against Houston (Texas) Memorial.
