The Murray State duo of Adam Puckett and Blake Albertson maintained their two-day lead and won the FLW College Fishing National Championship on Thursday on the Potomac River in Charles County, Maryland.

Puckett and Albertson, both Indiana natives, finished with a haul of 51 pounds, 3 ounces, including a catch of 15-8 Thursday, and edged Bethel's Tristan McCormick and Dakota Pierce by just 3 ounces. The MSU pair earned a Ranger Z175 with a 90-horsepower motor for the club, and entry for Puckett and Albertson into the 2019 FLW Cup on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Arkansas, this Aug. 9-11.
