Josh King scored the only goal needed as McCracken County dispatched Henderson County 1-0 in boys soccer Thursday. King scored on a first-half corner kick and would let the defense carry the team the rest of the game. Gavin O'Donley recorded five saves for the Mustangs.

DRAFFENVILLE -- Marshall County earned another Fourth District victory, 25-19, 25-17 and 25-14, over Calloway County (11-8) in high school volleyball on Thursday night. McKenzie Elkins led the Marshals (12-11) with 23 digs, while Bailey Pritchett added 17. Clara Bradley made 14 assists, Alyssa McClain served five aces and Jessica Hicks slammed nine kills.
