Foster, Ole Miss forward, named All-SEC for third time

For the third-straight season, former Murray and Graves County star forward Channing Foster has been named All-SEC in women's soccer, following another intrepid season at Ole Miss.

After All-SEC Second Team honors her freshman and sophomore years, Foster was named All-SEC First Team on Sunday -- an honor saved for the elite of the conference.

Heading into the SEC Tournament, Foster is fifth in the league in goals scored (10), which includes four game-winners (against North Alabama, Southeast Missouri, Western Kentucky and Auburn). Of her 81 shots, 32 have been on goal for a .395 shots-on-goal percentage.

She's also converted all three of her penalty kicks, all of which came in victories against North Alabama, Western Kentucky and Murray State.

According to Ole Miss Athletics, Foster is the seventh Rebel to earn All-Conference honors three times, and has a chance next season to become just the second in school history to earn All-SEC four times.
