HUNTINGBURG, Ind. -- Dubois County went on big runs in the first and fourth innings to stop Paducah 8-5 in Ohio Valley League baseball action from Saturday night.
Tucker Schank capped a three-run first for the Bombers with a two-RBI single. The Chiefs climbed back into the game with a second-inning RBI double from Drew Hudson and a hit batter with the bases loaded in the third. Dubois extended its lead with four runs in the fourth; coming off back-to-back hits, an error and a sacrifice fly.
Benji Brokemond drove in two Bomber runs, while Lofton Pigg had two for Paducah. Pierce Mitchum picked up three hits in the leadoff slot for the Chiefs. Devin Morris secured the Dubois win by striking out six over the final four innings.
