McCracken County remains No. 7 in Class 6A in this week’s Associated Press prep football poll, as voted by statewide media members.

The Mustangs (5-2) have rattled off five straight wins after starting the season 0-2.

Paducah Tilghman (5-2) dropped three spots to No. 9 in Class 3A after Friday’s 49-14 loss to DeSales, which moved up two spots to No. 3.

Mayfield stood pat at No. 2 in Class 2A after beating Caldwell County (5-2) — which dropped two spots to No. 7 — 45-7 in Princeton on Friday. After blowing out Fort Campbell, Murray (5-1) moved up one spot to No. 6.
