At the end of Paducah Chiefs baseball games, General Manager Greg McKeel thanks everyone leaving the park for attending the game and for supporting the team.

However, it should be us showing our appreciation to the entire Chiefs organization for two months of family-friendly, affordable, and enjoyable evenings at the ballpark.

So to Greg McKeel, Manager Joe Hall and his staff, the groundskeepers, announcers, concession staff, sponsoring companies, Brian York and radio station 99.5 along with its sponsors, the young men who come far and near to play ball here, the families who open their homes to them, and others I (apologetically) forgot: Thank you many times over for good times at the ballpark this summer.

We are sorry to see it end, but we look forward to next year.

Go Chiefs.
