The residents of Jackson House Apartments and WB Sanders Retirement Center were truly blessed by this year's Downtown Advent Walk.

Despite the chilly conditions and gusty winds the event saw a great turnout. The participating churches chose to conclude the walk at Jackson House and then treated the residents to an uplifting message about Jesus and how to lead, Christmas music and soup, sandwiches and desserts. Gift bags were collected in advance of the walk and enough were delivered to provide a gift to every resident. This was a very special event and a true blessing for our community.

Thanks to Broadway United Methodist, First Presbyterian, Grace Episcopal, St. Francis de Sales Catholic and Washington Street Baptist. And many thanks to Zach Ault and Jenna Goggins for coordinating such a great event. Thank you from the staff and residents of Jackson House Apartments and WB Sanders Retirement Center.
