EDDYVILLE -- Steven James Pierce, 2, died Sunday, June 9, 2019, as a flash flood victim at Cummins Falls State Park in Jackson County, Tennessee.

He is survived by his parents, Curtis James Pierce and Hannah Mae Stamps Pierce of Eddyville; sister Martha Sarahfaye Pierce of Eddyville; grandfather and stepgrandmother Michael and Julie Stamps of Eddyville; grandmother and stepgrandfather Deanna and Greg French of Hickory; grandfather Weldon Pierce of Calvert City; grandmother and stepgrandfather Rose Linn Rudolph of Eddyville; as well as great-grandparents and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sarah York.

Visitation was held Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Lakeland Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. today, June 14, 2019, at Lakeland Funeral Home with Robin Redd and Carl Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Calvert City Cemetery.
