Robert Ray Workman, 81, of Paducah passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Mr. Workman was a retired mortgage broker, a veteran of the Army and he was of the non-denominational faith. Robert was a member of the 32nd Degree Mason of the Masonic Lodge in Hammond, Indiana, and of the Scottish Rite.

He is survived by his wife, Mae Workman of Paducah; four daughters, Laura Workman of Glasgow, Nancy Bormann of Hernando, Florida, Lisa Bolinger of Glasgow, Michelle Lane of Bowling Green; two stepsons, Richard Edward West of Jackson, Tennessee, Kenneth West of Hobart, Indiana; one sister, Wanda Cloud of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Workman and Frances Lou (Shouse) Gillete; one son, Michael Vernon Workman; and one stepson, Thomas Vernon West.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with William McAlpin.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
