GILBERTSVILLE -- Robert Joseph Holcomb, 66, of Gilberstville died Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

Mr. Holcomb was a member of St. Matthew by the Lake Lutheran Church and co-chaired a charity fundraiser called Hook'em for the Hungry at the church.

He is survived by a daughter, Katie Joseph of Arnold, Missouri; a son, Rob Holcomb of Fenton, Missouri; two granddaughters, Callie and Elsie Joseph; three sisters; one brother; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

His parents were Robert and Clara Holcomb.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in Mr. Holcomb's memory to St. Matthew by the Lake Memorial Fund, 3966 U.S. 641 North, Benton, KY 42025.

A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019, at St. Matthew by the Lake Lutheran Church with Colleen Winkler officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr is in charge of arrangements.
