MOUNT JULIET, Tenn. -- Melanie Ann Erwin, 32, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, and formerly of Murray, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

She was a manager for M.L. Rose, a restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee. Melanie loved spending time with her daughter and family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, going to the lake and her pets. She was born on February 17, 1987, in Murray to Jo Ann Allbritten Erwin of Murray and Tim (Amie) Erwin of Fancy Farm.

Along with her mother, father and stepmother, she is survived by her fiance', Michael Mayer of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; her daughter, Charlotte Elizabeth Mayer; one brother, Matthew Erwin of Nashville, Tennessee; her grandmother, Wanda Erwin of Murray; and her grandfather, Pearly McClure of Murray.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Sydney Erwin; a grandmother, Charlotte McClure, and a grandfather, Rob Erwin.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Union Hill Church of Christ, 882 Union Hill Road, Benton, KY 42025, with David Hendrickson officiating.
