EDDYVILLE -- Mary Weldon Dulaney, 85, of Eddyville, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019, at Baptist Health Paducah. She was a retired educator with the Lyon County School System and a member of Kuttawa United Methodist Church. She was also a charter member of Chi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Honorary Woman Educators Society, a member of Lyon County Retired Teachers and Kentucky Retired Teachers, a Kentucky Colonel, a member of James Thomas Chapter of Daughters of American Revolution and a staff member of the Rainbow Connection (after school children's program).

She is survived by several cousins including Anne Byron, Dunedin, Florida; Sandra Verhoff & husband, Philip, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Elizabeth Montoya, Dundein, Florida; and special friends Eddy, Ellen and Eli Nickell of Eddyville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Dulaney, and her parents, Charles Simpson Bale and Margaret Harrison Champion Bale.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 13, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kuttawa United Methodist Church in Kuttawa. Funeral services follow at 1 p.m. at the church with Rev. Jim Keegan and Rev. Chuck Ladd officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Old Eddyville.
