WINGO -- Joe Lynn Mullins, 86, of Wingo, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at 5:50 a.m. at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.

He was a member of the Pryorsburg Baptist Church. He was a farmer, and a he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Mullins is survived by his wife of 67 years, Wanda Dunevant Mullins of Wingo; one daughter, Pam (Mickey) Janes of Wingo; one son, Joe Keith (Angie) Mullins of Wingo; four grandchildren, Nathan (Diane) Janes, Elaina Janes, Dr. Samantha Mullins and Jacob Mullins; and two great-grandchildren, Laurel Janes and Laila Janes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lermon and Dessie Freeman Mullins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with Rev. Ronnie Stinson Jr., Rev. Chris Clark and Rev. Marshall Ivey officiating. Burial will follow in the Wingo Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019, at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.

Pallbearers will be: Jacob Mullins, Nathan Janes, Ricky Rhodes, Ronald Morgan, Nelson Cude Jr., Chuck Clark, Eddie Rogers and Mike Nesler.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dr. Samantha Mullins, Elaina Janes, Diane Janes, Laurel Janes and Laila Janes.
