REIDLAND -- Glenn Jackson, 96, of Reidland, formerly of Kuttawa, died at 6:44 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2019, at his home.
He was a partner with his brother, R. E. Jackson, in Jackson Brothers Trucking. He also worked for and retired from Dairyman, Inc. and was member of the Gospel Assembly Church as well as a US Army veteran of WWII.
Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Lois Timmons Jackson; parents, Dan and Minnie Fitts Jackson; five brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include son, Dathal Jackson of Benton, daughter Betty Andrews of Paducah; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at the Gospel Assembly Church, 2100 Ohio St., Paducah, with Rev. Encil Edmonds and Rev. Michael Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Kuttawa Cemetery in Lyon County with military rites.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Dunn's Funeral Home in Eddyville and from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Gospel Assembly Church in Paducah.
