LULING, La. -- Fred Stanley "Stan" Bushkill, 83, of Luling, died Friday, June 7, 2019, at Touro Hospital in New Orleans.

He was a retired radiation safety officer with a nondestructive testing company and was a member of Christ Tabernacle Church in Princeton. He was a United States Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Garrett Bushkill; daughters Shannon Smith of Kuttawa and Melissa Snyder of Eddyville; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Reva Elizabeth Murphy Bushkill; his first wife, Sandy Bushkill; and one brother.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Christ Tabernacle Church with the Rev. Troy Jent officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery in Eddyville.

Friends may call at the church from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, June 12, 2019, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. You may light a candle or leave a message for the family at www.lakelandchapel.com.
