TUCSON, Ariz. -- Doyle Dugger passed away Saturday April 20, 2019, in Tucson at the age of 91. His wife Ruth L & daughter Vicki were at his side as he passed.

Doyle was born and raised in Mankato, Kansas. After graduating from high school, Doyle proudly served in the U.S. Army in both WWII & Korean War. After his service, he & his wife, who he met in Lawrence, Kansas, moved to Calvert City, Kentucky, where he worked for Air Produces for 35+ years. There they raised their two children Vicki and Eddie. When he retired, he fulfilled his lifelong dream of moving to Tucson.

Doyle enjoyed traveling and talking, he was a man who never met a stranger. He volunteered as a firefighter for Calvert City fire department, taught Sunday school at the Methodist church, was a Boy Scout leader, and helped out with the local Girl Scout troop.

Doyle is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth L Dugger; daughter, Vicki Dugger; and sister, Peggy (Dugger) Seirer.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Blanton, son, Edger (Eddie) Dugger, great-granddaughter, Gabriella; and parents Frank and Ruth E (McCleery) Dugger. Special thanks to the staff at Mom and Dad's Place 2 & Heartland Hospice for all their love & support.

Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Arizona Humane Society, Heartland Hospice.

A service will be held at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 15950 N. Luckett Road, Marana, Arizona at noon on June 13, 2019.
