MAYFIELD -- Dorothy Helen Denney Brown, 96, of Mayfield, and formerly of Clinton, passed away at 3:35 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2019, at her residence.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mayfield, she was a partner with her husband, Robert W. Brown of Brown Funeral homes and a licensed funeral director since 1961. She is a member of the Eastern Star chapter 539.

She is survived by her twin sons, Robert D. (Shelia) Brown of Clinton and William R. (Susie) Brown of Wingo; five grandchildren, James R. (Angie) Brown of Ames, Iowa, Adrienne (Mark) Yeager of Paducah, Micah (Misty) Brown of Mayfield, Daniel (Mykala) Brown of Paducah and Sam (Brittany) Brown of Mayfield; 10 great-grandchildren, Noah and Isaac Brown, both of Ames, Iowa, Benjamin and Samuel Yeager of Paducah, Ellie Mitchell-Brown and Izzie Brown of Mayfield, Owen and Spencer Brown of Paducah and Jonah and Jack Brown of Mayfield; brother-in-law, Sam Brown of Louisville; sister-in-law, Waunita Denney of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.

Her devoted caregivers, Wrenn Ray, Pat Rohrer, Julie Rohrer, Dana Rohrer, Jordan Rohrer and Bailey Hawkins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Brown; parents, P.E. and Emma Baker Denney; and brother, Carl Denney.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, with Rev. Paul Wilkerson, Rev. Ronnie Stinson Jr. and Rev. Wes Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, August 12, 2019, at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
