Dennis Earl Madison


KEVIL -- Dennis Earl Madison, 70, of Kevil, died on Wednesday August 28, 2019 at his home.

He was born on December 7, 1948, in Evansville Indiana. In 1973, he married Elizabeth J. Madison and together they had two children, Tabitha L. Snow and Diane E. Williams. They divorced in 1990 and Dennis was re-married to Bonnie J. Gay in 2000. Dennis worked as a Unit Operator at the TVA Shawnee Steam Plant for 31 years. After retirement, he became a deputy sheriff/ bailiff for Ballard County.

He served as a member as a Freemason and a lifetime Kentucky Colonel. He was also active member of the NRA. Dennis enjoyed riding motorcycles and traveling. He loved to travel to the Smokey Mountains. He will be greatly missed.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Bonnie J. (Gay) Madison; daughters, Tabitha L. Snow (Steve), Diane E. Williams (Ken); stepsons, Bradley Feezor (Ashley) and Michael Freezor; 10 grandchildren, Alex Johnson, Brieana Johnson, Madison Johnson, Kaden Crass, Kenzilyn Harrell, Kayleah Johnson (Ashley), Ashton Byassee, Kyler Byassee, Brandon Feezor and Allison Feezor.

He is predeceased by his mother, Irene J Madison; father, David E Madison; brother, Raymond Madison; and ex-wife, Elizabeth J. Madison.

A memorial service organized by Grace Valley Baptist Church in Kevil will be held at 3 p.m. on September 8, 2019 at the church.

Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
