METROPOLIS, Ill. -- Clemar Riley, 71, of Metropolis, died at 11:08 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Mr. Riley was a self-employed mechanic.

He is survived by two sons, Edward Riley of California and Dwight Allen of Paducah; eight grandchildren; four brothers; five sisters; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilie Riley Sr. and Alma Riley; two brothers; and four sisters.

Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019, at First Missionary Baptist Church in Metropolis with the Revs. Orlando McReynolds and Michael Wade officiating.

Friends may call from noon until the funeral hour at the church.
