MAYFIELD -- Betty Lou Vinson, 91, of Mayfield passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.

She was a member of Spence Chapel United Methodist Church and a retired employee of Campbells Tobacco Company. She loved her dogs, her church, bowling, gardening in the yard and sewing.

Mrs. Vinson is survived by her husband of 26 years, Waymon "Sonny" Vinson; two step-sons, Waymon (Sheila) Vinson, Jr. of Cuba and Todd (Cheryl) Vinson of Mayfield; one daughter, Meda (Keith) Hankins of Paducah; one grandson, Jared Hankins; five step-grandchildren, Curtis Vinson, Justin Vinson, Allen Vinson, Megan Vinson, and Kayla Vinson; one sister, Robye Sue Spalding of Kirksville, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Shirley Ladd of Mayfield; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Joe Ed Riley, Moses Benjamin Riley, Elroy Riley and Horace Riley; and her parents, Benjamin Clifton and Lala Grace Ray Riley.

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Lou Vinson will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2020, at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield. Bill Lawson and Jim Boyd will officiate. Interment will follow at Farmington Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Justin Ralph, Jason Ralph, Tim Reynolds, Donnie Arnett, Ricky Ladd, and Mike Darnell.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
