A Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crew has completed concrete repair work along the eastbound lanes of Interstate 24 in Lyon and Trigg counties between the 50 and 65 mile marker.

Work zone lane restrictions will move to the I-24 westbound lanes starting Monday. This is a continuation of concrete repair work that started May 30.

During this round of work, all westbound I-24 traffic will move to the left-hand (passing) lane. This work zone will be set up in about 7 to 8 mile segments along the work area. The work area will continue to move westward toward the Ky. 293 Eddyville Exit 45 Interchange.

The work zone is expected to be in place through about Aug. 15.
