A two-vehicle collision along West Slaughter Road in Graves County left one Mayfield man injured Wednesday.

Graves County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the area around 8:15 p.m. where they found that a pair of vehicles had sideswiped one another at the crest of a hill.

Kenneth Campbell, 63, of Mayfield, was traveling east while 36-year-old Brannon Lawson, also of Mayfield, was driving west. After the vehicles collided, Lawson's spun out of control and entered a pond, becoming partially submerged.

Campbell was transported to a local hospital for noncritical injuries. Lawson was uninjured.

Mayfield-Graves County EMS assisted at the scene.
