Mayfield and Graves County authorities arrested two Mayfield residents Tuesday after a search allegedly uncovered drugs and weapons.

Graves Sheriff John Hayden and deputies and detectives from the Graves County Sheriff’s Office and detectives from the Mayfield Police Department conducted a drug-related search warrant at 206 W. Oak St. in Mayfield. Inside, detectives reported finding suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and two firearms.

During the investigation, detectives identified the residents of the home to be Nicolas Bottoms, 25, and Nicholas Davis, 40, who were not present at the time of the search warrant. Detectives later located Davis and Bottoms in Mayfield and both were arrested. Both were taken to the Graves County Jail.
