Federal officials will host a town hall meeting in Paducah on June 20 to discuss benefits to current and former nuclear weapons workers.

Medical providers and current and former employees of the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant, or other facilities involved in nuclear weapons production, are invited to attend the meeting from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. at the Emerging Technology Center, located at 5100 Alben Barkley Drive, Room 109.

Representatives from the U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Department of Energy and National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health will answer questions, give claim status updates and help with the filing of new claims.

Officials will provide a presentation for claimants and their authorized representatives at 9 a.m. and hold a presentation for medical providers at 1 p.m.

Staff will be available during the town hall, with a one-hour break from 1-2 p.m.

The presentations will incorporate information regarding claim adjudication, regulations, wage loss, impairment, medical benefits, medical equipment, health care and housing and vehicle modifications.
