Suspicious parked vehicle leads to drug arrest

A Paducah man was arrested on drug charges Wednesday night when someone reported a suspicious vehicle in the Reidland area.

McCracken County Sheriff's deputies were sent to 5500 Kentucky Dam Road at 9:47 p.m. A search of the vehicle revealed that the driver, John Parker, 35, of Paducah reportedly had methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Parker was arrested on charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was brought to the McCracken County Jail, where he was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
