A sturdy roof is one of the key elements in extending the life of a building. Recently, at a check presentation celebration, Paducah Antique Mall owner Rebecca Ausbrooks received $32,312 from the city of Paducah's Roof Stabilization Assistance Program. These funds were matched by the business, which is located at 407 Broadway, to rehabilitate the roof. Ausbrooks said, "These grants are lifesavers. I couldn't have done it without the grant." Present were (from left) City Manager Jim Arndt, Planning Director Tammara Tracy, Ausbrooks, Main Street Director Katie Axt and City Manager's Office Intern Harrison Fry.
