There is something for everyone Saturday at the 10th annual Ratoberfest in Paducah, where people can check out cars, eat food and win prizes to benefit Marshall County Exceptional Center.

Festivities kick off around 7:30 p.m. today at Calvert City Drive-In with a "pre-cruise in" and a one-night-only showing of "The Fast and the Furious." Ratoberfest T-shirts and discounted armbands will be on sale. The drive-in opens at 4:30 p.m. Admission is $8 per person, while children under 12 are free.

Ratoberfest is held at Beacon Dragway, 4460 Shemwell Lane in Paducah, and campers and vendor booths can arrive for setup on Friday. Gates open at 7 a.m. Saturday for entry, registration and more vendor setup.

Admission is $10 per person -- one flat entry free for people showing a car, acting as a vendor, or supporting the event as a spectator or volunteer.

It's free admission for children 12 and under.

Ratoberfest will feature cruising, food vendors, live auction, cash prizes, awards and entry prizes. An awards ceremony is expected to start around 3:30 p.m.
