Paducah police arrested a Clements Street man after they say he fired a handgun at a man and a woman during an argument.

Witnesses told police that Taylor Johnson, 27, came to a home on Bradley Street on Sunday night, armed with a handgun. They said he came into the backyard and fired the gun at the ground near their feet, police reported Wednesday.

Johnson was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

He was taken to McCracken County Regional Jail.
