Two people were injured Wednesday after a SUV/motorcycle collision on Paducah’s south side.

According to Paducah police, Nelda Reed 63, of Madison Street, was driving north on Bridge Street near the Beltline highway around noon. She told them that a vehicle in front of her turned left into a restaurant parking lot, and she failed to see an oncoming motorcycle and turned left, as well. Her 2012 Dodge Journey was hit by a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle, ridden by Timmy McFarland, 36, of Horace Barnes Road, police reported.

Reed and McFarland were taken to Baptist Health Paducah and Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
