A Paducah Middle School student was taken out of class and reported to police Friday after making "comments that disrupted the educational process," school officials said.

The comments were reported to Paducah Middle administrators, who removed the student from the classroom. Student statements were taken and the incident was reported to Paducah police per school protocol, according to Wayne Walden, Paducah Public Schools communications coordinator.
