The Mercy Health Foundation Lourdes has received a grant from the Honorable Order Kentucky Colonels (HOKC) in the amount of $3,500 to purchase a mobile gaming cart for the Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital pediatric unit.

"We'd like to thank the Kentucky Colonels for this generous grant," Mercy Health Foundation Lourdes President Jessica Toren said. "Mercy Health's youngest patients will benefit greatly from this grant, as the gaming unit it will purchase will provide entertainment and a needed distraction for kids in our care."

HOKC will award $2.1 million in grants supporting 265 nonprofits, impacting more than 3.9 million Kentuckians. This year's total is a record for HOKC's Good Works Program and represents HOKC reaching the $50-million mark since the Colonels became a 501c3 in 1951.
