A McCracken County man was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the parking lot of a Paducah business on drug and gun offenses.
On Tuesday afternoon, McCracken County drug detectives received information alleging that Logan Cosby, 19, of Dogwood Lane in McCracken County was in possession of a large amount of Xanax he was attempting to sell.
Detectives located and arrested Cosby at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday in a parking lot at 3220 Irvin Cobb Drive. During a search of Cosby and his car, detectives found and seized a loaded .40 caliber handgun, 150 doses of Xanax, a digital scale, baggies and $1,301 in U.S. currency believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales.
Cosby was arrested and brought to the McCracken County Regional Jail, where he was held without bond. He was charged with firearm-enhanced trafficking in a third-degree controlled substance (Xanax, greater than 20 dose units).
