A Mayfield man was arrested after a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning on U.S. 45 south of Lone Oak.

Obrien Brown, 38, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, cocaine; third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, drug unspecified; tampering with physical evidence; and alcohol intoxication.

McCracken County Sheriff's deputies responded to the collision around 3:30 a.m. They said Brown was in possession of cocaine and prescription pills.

Another occupant of the vehicle, 32-year-old Charles Holloway, also of Mayfield, was arrested for alcohol intoxication.

Both men were booked into McCracken County Jail.
