A Calvert City man was arrested on several charges following a deputy pursuit leading to a crash at a McCracken County mobile home park.

A McCracken County Sheriff's deputy tried to pull over a vehicle about 2 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Oaks and Milliken roads, but the driver did not pull over.

According to the incident report, the vehicle crashed at a mobile home park on Milliken Road. The driver then got out of the vehicle and ran away into a wooded area. The driver was quickly apprehended and identified as Shannon McClure, 32, of Calvert City.

McClure reportedly had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in McCracken Circuit Court and an outstanding warrant for parole violation. In addition to the warrants, he was charged with failure to wear a seat belt, second-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), reckless driving, second-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot) and failure to produce an insurance card.

McClure was taken to the McCracken Regional Jail.
