Beginning Monday, the main entrance to Noble Park off Park Avenue will be closed to allow city of Paducah Street Division crews to replace a storm sewer. This project should take approximately two days, weather-permitting.

The other three entrances to Noble Park will remain open during the project. Also, traffic will be allowed to exit adjacent to the main entrance. However, due to the one-way nature of some of the park's roads, the project will prevent traffic from accessing the east side of the lake or the roadway in front of the tennis courts. The playgrounds and tennis courts will be open; however, park patrons will need to park in other areas of the park and walk to the facilities.

Once the storm sewer is replaced, the entrance will reopen to the public. Additional work will be scheduled for late October to complete asphalt repairs to the roadway.

Please use caution, and watch for the work crews and equipment.
