LEDBETTER â€" Tuesday, Sept. 10. Markets totaled 274 head. Compared to last week: slaughter cows, $1 to $3 lower; slaughter bulls, $1 to $3 lower; feeder steers, $2 to $6 lower; feeder heifers, $3 to $9 lower.

Slaughter cows: breakers, 70 to 80 percent lean, $47 to $54; boners, 80 to 85 percent lean, $54 to $60; lean, 85 to 90 percent lean, $42 to $57.

Slaughter bulls yield grade 1-2: $72 to $84.

Feeder steers medium and large 1-2: 300 to 400 pounds, $152 to $158; 400 to 500 pounds, $139 to $151; 500 to 600 pounds, $131 to $137; 600 to 700 pounds, $120 to $128; 700 to 800 pounds, $115 to $119; 800 to 900 pounds, $111.

Feeder heifers medium and large 1-2: 300 to 400 pounds, $128 to $135; 400 to 500 pounds, $120 to $125; 500 to 600 pounds, $121 to $126; 600 to 700 pounds, $109 to $120; 700 to 800 pounds, $102.

Head cows, $450 to $775; cows/calves, $820 to $930.
