Kids street fair returns Saturday

Market House Theatre hosts the seventh annual Kids Creative Arts Street Fair on the Square in downtown Paducah 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. It's a free, family-friendly event that will feature a variety of activities, including ribbon dancing.

The Kids Creative Arts Street Fair on the Square returns this weekend to downtown Paducah, where visitors can enjoy a variety of fun activities for the entire family.

Market House Theatre hosts the seventh annual event from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Market House Square. It's free to attend and open to the public. Children can visit booths with different crafts, art, drama, music, games, stories and dance.

Market House Theatre will offer two free performances of PlayTime Interactive Theatre Troupe's production of "The Three Little Pigs" at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the MHT Studio Theatre. A comedy improv performance is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

Many organizations are set to participate in the street fair, including The National Quilt Museum, Market House Theatre, River Discovery Center, DanceMHT, The Carson Center, Paducah Symphony Orchestra, Harmony Road Music School, McCracken County Public Library, Paducah School of Art and Design, Yeiser Art Center, McCracken County Early Childhood Council, Maiden Alley Cinema, Market House Museum and The Challenger Learning Center. Inflatables will be provided by Tri State Games, LLC, Inflatable Rentals.

Free activities planned include braiding your own wrist band, Kids Karaoke, ribbon dancing, inflatables, photo booth, T-shirt tie dye and trying out instruments at the "instrument petting zoo." Free performances will be held throughout the day.

Paducah Bank's WOW Wagon is also expected to appear with free ice cold treats.
