GCSO make arrest after traffic stop


A man faces multiple charges after a Thursday traffic stop by the Graves County Sheriff's Office.

Jordan Vogt, 24, is charged with trafficking in marijuana (less than eight ounces, first offense), operating motor vehicle under the influence (first offense), buy/possess drug paraphernalia, speeding 13 mph over and open alcohol container.

Around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Deputy Brendan Weldon started a traffic stop on a 2006 Buick sedan on State Route 1241. The sheriff's office identified Vogt as its driver in a news release.

During the traffic stop, Vogt was found to have suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his possession. He was arrested and booked at the Graves County Jail.
