The Eddyville Riverport and Industrial Development Authority was one of six entities to receive riverport grants from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to improve multimodal transportation in Kentucky.

The KYTC's Division of Planning administers the Kentucky Riverport Improvement program to fund improvements at riverports. These riverport grants total $500,000.

The Eddyville project involves the realignment of Agri-Chem Access Road. An existing conveyor structure and concrete pad will be removed and the existing access road realigned to better facilitate truck movement. The second phase of the project involves resurfacing the scale road due to damage caused by loaded trucks.

The project cost will be $99,560, and the Eddyville Riverport and Industrial Development Authority received a grant of $49,780, or half of the cost.
