A contractor for P&L Railroad plans rail crossing work on a section of KY 725/Woodville Road in western McCracken County starting at 7 a.m. Monday.

KY 725/Woodville Road will be closed at mile point 1.577 in the Heath area to allow upgrades to a rail crossing near the Bradford Road intersection.

The closure is expected to be in place for approximately one week. There will be a marked detour.

The contractor for P&L Railroad also has plans for a rail crossing upgrade along the KY 139 and KY 293 Truck Bypass/Seminary Street in Princeton starting on September 15 for about two days.
