The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its annual awards to be presented at the Chamber's 2020 Annual Meeting and Business Celebration on Jan. 31 with presenting sponsors Mercy Health and CSI.

The deadline to submit nominations is Dec. 13. A nomination form is available on the chamber's website at; go to Events and Annual Meeting, call 270-443-1746 or email Businesses or individuals who have received recognition in the past five years are not eligible to win in the same category.

Award nominations are being accepted for: Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Summit Award, Volunteer of the Year, and Leadership Paducah Alum of the Year. All awards are not presented each year.

In 2019, the Business of the Year was Credit Bureau Systems, Small Business was i5 Design Group, Entrepreneur of the Year was the Dirt Road Boutique and owner Heather Abanatha, Non-Profit Organization was Family Service Society, Summit Award went to Milner & Orr Funeral Homes, Citizen of the Year was retired McCracken County Judge-Executive Bob Leeper, Chamber Volunteer of the Year was Bradley Shoulta, and Leadership Paducah Alum of the Year was Susan Guess.

Additionally, The Paducah Sun Business Journal will announce at the event the Young Leader Award. To nominate someone between the ages of 25-40, contact David Zoeller at The Paducah Sun, or call 270-575-8675. The deadline is also Dec. 13.
