LEXINGTON -- Caroline Robinson Washer and Cole Thomas Wilken were united in marriage June 1, 2019, at Keeneland Entertainment Center with Kevin Wooten, minister, officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Shawn and Lonna Washer of Paducah.
The groom is the son of Todd and Janus Wilken of Bowling Green.
The bride chose Mrs. Grace Johnson of Lexington as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Jessica Brooks of Lexington, Miss Meredith Morris of Memphis, Tennessee, Miss Maddie Morris of Evansville, Indiana, Mrs. McKenzi Belt Simmons, of Franklin, Tennessee, Miss Abby Edgin of Louisville, and Miss Alyssa LeSeure of Ottawa, Illinois. Serving as flowergirls were Miss Ellie Rogers and Miss Addie Rogers of Louisville.
The groom chose Mr. Alex Wilken of Lexington as his best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Reed Norris of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Mr. Wes Johnson of Lexington, Mr. Andrew Thompson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mr. Josh Fox of Akron, Ohio, Mr. Drew Wilken of Bowling Green, and Mr. Patrick Washer of Lexington. Mr. Aulden Washer of Cadiz served as the ring bearer.
Music was provided by Dorian Strings Quartet.
A reception followed at Keeneland Entertainment Center with music provided by The Company Band of Louisville.
The bride is a 2013 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School, a 2017 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, and a 2018 master of business administration degree from the University of Kentucky. She is employed by Deloitte.
The groom is a 2012 graduate of South Warren High School and a 2016 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology. He is currently a student at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.
The couple will reside in Lexington.
