A Paducah man had an additional burglary-related charge made against him Friday while he was in the McCracken County Jail following his initial arrest on similar charges earlier this month.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, Gabriel McGill, 20, was charged with first-degree burglary, criminal attempt, while at the jail. McGill was initially arrested July 6 following an investigation into several reports of attempted break-ins by a naked male with a large kitchen knife in the Lovelaceville Florence Station Road West area, sheriff's reports indicate.

McGill was identified from surveillance video from one of the residences, according to deputies, and located after he sought medical treatment at a local hospital. He was initially charged with two counts of first-degree burglary and one count of first-degree burglary, criminal attempt.

Anyone with information in this case is asked to contact sheriff's deputies at 270-444-4719.
