Blessing of the Animals

The Rev. Charles Uhlik, of Paducah, gives blessings to stable horse Mary on Wednesday night at Grace Episcopal Church on Broadway in downtown Paducah as part of a national event called "The Blessing of the Animals." Pet owners brought many of their own furry friends to be blessed at the charity-driven event. Any donations collected at the blessing will be donated to "Project Hope," a no-kill animal shelter located in Metropolis.
