Dr. Joshua and Rola Meredith

Rola Khaldoun Hawatmeh and Dr. Joshua Simon Meredith were united in marriage on Nov. 10, 2018, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Paducah. Officiating were the Rev. Richard Meredith, the Rev. J. Patrick Reynolds and Anthony Simon, deacon.

The bride is the daughter of Khaldoun and Khlood Hawatmeh of Los Angeles, and the granddaughter of Tawfiqe and Nawal Hawatmeh, and the late Saleh and Jelilah Hawatmeh.

The groom is the son of Michael and Lori Meredith of Paducah, and the grandson of the late Jack and Theresa Haddad and Percy and Margie Meredith.

The bride chose Samantha Shobash and Krystal Hattar as her maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Sasha Skaf, Zena Hattar, Natasha Simon, Tiffany Rhayem, Sara Hawatmeh, Jordan Wright, Dr. Taryn Wollschlager, Emily Meredith, Jaclyn Meredith and Lydia Meredith. Flower girl was Elizabeth Jane Parr.

Serving as best men were Michael Meredith and Luke Meredith. Groomsmen included Robby Hawatmeh, Christian Hawatmeh, Matt Gilland, Bryan Clark, Clint Englert, Dylan Thurman, Alex Blackwell, Dr. Sammy Thompson and Dr. William Hunt. Ushers were Tim Brotherton and Johnny Simon. Ringbearer was George Joseph Simon.

The bride is a registered nurse at Vidant Medical Center and the groom is a surgical resident at Vidant Medical Center.

The couple resides in Greenville, North Carolina.
