St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 122 Spruce St., Murray, will host its 3rd annual Women in Hats Conference: "A Woman in Strength", Saturday, Sept. 28, with registration starting at 9 a.m., with guest speakers, Kathleen Weber, Hazel United Methodist Church and Josephine Deeds of the Durrett Avenue Missionary Baptist Church of Hopkinsville. Fellowship

Church Women United will host its 2019 Human Rights Day program on today at St. James C.M.E. Church, 806 Tennessee St., Paducah. Registration is at 9:30 a.m. for the 10 a.m. program. The Rev. Trinity United Methodist Church, 6125 Blandville Road, Paducah, will host a weekly Bible study will be from 5 to 6:45 p.m. starting Wednesday with a meal and hands-on activities and experiences in a rotational, station-to-station format. The program will continue weekly until April 2020.

West Kentucky Christian Alliance will host its Fall Christian Festival on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Keiler Park, next to Midtown Market, Paducah, enjoy music, speakers, food, fun, and vendor booths. For more information, call 270-994-3230.

St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 30 Campbell Ave., Bardwell will host a celebration for the Rev. Wendell D. Gray's 37th Pastoral Anniversary, Sunday, starting at its 11 a.m. service with the Rev. Michael Lockhart of Alpha Missionary Baptist Church of Russellville as guest speaker, with a dinner served at 1:30 p.m. at the Bardwell Community Center on US Highway 51 South. The celebration will continue at the 3 p.m. service as the Rev. Derrick Fitts and the congregation of Mt Gilead Missionary Baptist Church will be the guests.
