Revival

New Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 643 Cruse Ave., will continue its "Annual Spring Revival" with services tonight at 7. Featured evangelist will be the Rev. Leroy Brent, pastor of the Fairview Baptist Church of Mayfield. Music will be provided by area choirs and soloists. The Rev. Fred L. Ford is the host pastor.

Special services

First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 111 South 9th St., Mayfield, will host a retirement reception on Sunday honoring the Rev. Dr. Bruce Dobyns, after the 10 a.m. service. Dobyns has spent 46 years as a Christian minister and was installed as Senior Minister at First Christian Church of Mayfield in 2014.

First Missionary Baptist Church, 7th & Vienna Streets, Metropolis, Illinois, will host a Sixth Appreciation Service for its pastor, Dr. Orlando McReynolds, and his wife, Dale, on Sunday beginning at 3 p.m. The Rev. James B. Barnwell III, assistant pastor of Transformation Christian Church in Raleigh, North Caroline, will deliver the 11 a.m. message. The Rev. Raynarldo Henderson and the congregation of Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah will be in charge of the 3 p.m. appreciation service. Dinner will be served in the First Missionary Family Life Center following the 11 a.m. service.

New Bethel Freewell Baptist Church, Brookport, Illinois, will host a monthly corporate prayer meeting at 6 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Ronnie White serves as host pastor.

Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1520 Martin Luther King Drive, will host its annual fellowship service on Sunday at 3 p.m. The Rev. Alfred Roundtree and Walton Grove Presbyterian Church from Henry, Tennessee, will be guests. A meal will be served at 1:30 p.m.

St. James C.M.E. Church, 800 Tennessee St., will host The 2019 Crusade, sponsored by the Young Adults Department, on Friday at 6:30 p.m. and 10 a.m. Saturday. Guest evangelist is Elder Lauren White of the Christ Temple Apostolic Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. Refreshments served Friday and breakfast Saturday morning.

Fellowship

First Christian Church of Paducah, 415 Audubon Drive, will have its annual Community Picnic on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. Meat and sides provided. Everyone invited.

Fountain Avenue United Methodist Church will host its 17th Annual Neighborhood Street Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fountain Avenue Circle Park. Free activities, food, and drink provided.

Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 9701 Blandville Road, will host Paducah native singer-songwriter John Martin Keith in concert on Sunday at 5 p.m. in the Family Life and Worship Center.

Palma United Methodist Church, 2816 U.S. 68 West, will host a "Country Ham & Sausage" breakfast from 6:30 to 9 a.m. on Saturday.

St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 2701 Broadway, will host its monthly breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday. All donations will benefit Hope Unlimited.
