First Presbyterian Church of Paducah will hold its 12th annual Winter Warm-up Soup Lunch fundraiser on Thursday, February 6 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall at 7th & Jefferson Streets.  The lunch features soups and breads from local restaurants, as well as home-made desserts for a suggested minimum $10 donation.  The public is invited to dine-in, carry-out, or request delivery for ten or more advance orders.  All proceeds go to Child Watch Counseling & Advocacy Center - CASA of West Kentucky.

Since 1984, Child Watch's mission has been to provide a child-friendly environment for the prevention, evaluation, and treatment of child abuse victims.  Child Watch provides local children and families with education, advocacy, and treatment through a variety of services.  Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers give a voice to children by speaking for them in court and advocating for their best interests.  Therapeutic mental health counseling is provided at no charge to children and caregivers suffering from the trauma of abuse and neglect.  In addition, Child Watch staff deliver abuse prevention education to at least 13,000 children in camps and schools yearly.
